Ummmmm

Ummmm, yep still here!  Still riding!  I admit I have failed this semester of blogging.   I could sit here and try to make excuses, but there are no excuses.  I also could say I will make it up at summer school, but summer has about run it course and we will soon be moving on to fall.  I want to thank all of you that have taken the time to check in with me and see that things are still good.  They are!

Although the last few rides have seen me riding the fatty, I have put miles on the touring bike, the plastic bike, my normal road bike and I have had the mountain bike out also. .

The title of this blog entry was of what...ummmmm!?!?!?!  No shyness here. Just nature at its finest. They rode along for miles.

This was one of the lunch spots today...today's ride had two lunch spots...hehe

The flowers are full out!  Lots of them.

Fall is in the air around these parts of the world.

 The flowers were glowing today.

Ummmmm!  I noticed a lot of flowers being pollinated today.  I took several pictures but this one I thought this one showed it best.

A nice little pond on a quite road.

This was a great spot for the second half of the sandwich today. I do eat here quit often though.

Again, I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to those who have recently inquired about me.

As some of you may know, I have been uploading some YouTube videos lately.  If you like them, subscribe to the channel to keep in touch.

Thank You for reading
and
I appreciate any comments you may have.

Lets get outdoors and have some FUN!!

  1. Good to see you're back and getting put on the back roads. Is that the "see through tree" out on he Empire? Love that one as well as the old birch a little ways down the road from there.

    1. Yep, right on Cindy! I talked to the town worker when I went by and he told me you were out there. He said you were the only people he has seen.

    1. Thanks Trevor! When I downloaded the camera for this blog, I had several pictures of rides but I chose to use only the last two days.

    1. Ummmmm, I should have been a little more careful when I snapped that picture, because I know there were some that were in the very early stages of bloom. On the birght side, bring on the snow...the fatty lust for snow.

  4. I don't want to here any more of those dirty four letter words "F*7^", I am not through with summer yet!

Youtube compresses uploaded video to a high degree to save space and it mangles some videos really badly. I don't think it is anything you are doing. Your fatty video was surprisingly smooth for the rough dirt road. Are you using a suspension mount or did you "smooth" the video with post-proccessing software?

    Welcome back.

    1. Thanks biciak! Sorry for the delay, but we just came back from 3 days on the Namekagon River. I used a handlebar mount with a layer of electrical tape under the mount. I did not use the smooth button and normally do not. There was no smoothing software used.

I agree, the summer has been waayyyy too fast to suit me.

  6. I'm not sure I like the two lunch plan. I think a lunch stop plus a dessert stop would be much better. That must explain my ever expanding waist line.
